Just recently, I, along with Jillian Wolstein (Executive Director of HELP) had the pleasure of meeting the Ambassador of Malawi, Hawa O Ndilowe. It was wonderful to connect with to her, not only to have the experience but, most importantly for our cause. During the luncheon, we had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision and goals of what HELP has accomplished and what programs/projects are set up presently and in the future. An immediate connection was made between us, as we shared how passionate we are to make a difference, and realized that her hopes for Malawi run parallel to ours. By the end of the conversation, she was holding Jillian's hand while taking pictures with us and then holding mine while were saying our goodbyes.she is truly a sweet and amazing woman. She commended us on all of our hard work, and wished that she could meet everybody involved with HELP. This is because everyone on the HELP team is incredibly driven, caring and beyond hard working to ensure the children have a chance to make their dreams and aspirations a reality. She was very impressed with the fact that we are trying to empower the people of Malawi with education, trades and programs to better themselves for not only today. but for the future as well. She is very excited to be able to help us in the future in any way that she can, which is truly amazing! I can't wait to see what other great things the future holds for HELP but this is definitely an experience that will be hard to top!
